Illustration friday is here and Heroes is the theme. I know there are many real life heroes out there, and bless them all but I chose superheroes for this theme. I chose them because they have been a part of my childhood that I can't let go. When I pick up a comic and read it, it's just like when I was a kid reading it. It puts me right into the adventure!

Aquatic
Illustration friday theme this time is Aquatic. Just tried to capture the feeling of the word. I didn't put much detail in this so the land looks like it could be above or under water, and those objects in the distance could be whales or flying saucers. Though I think this feels like it.

Mischief
Illustration friday back so soon. This idea came from those classic cartoons (can't remember which one, anyone?) where the artist makes life a living hell for the cartoon character. Bwa-ha-ha!
Done in photoshop, scanned in some eraser bits and paper textures to overlay.

Reinvent
Hello,
Back for Illustration friday. When we try to reinvent ourselves, one of the first things we do is change our appearance. So adding a new coat of paint is just the beginning. Cheers.
Photoshop - I tried to approach this like an acrylic or oil painting as much as possible. I sketched this out directly in photoshop, painted it, overlay some textures to give it some grit, then painted some more.

Alone
Ok, This is my first posting for that great site Illustration friday. The topic was "Alone". Our little robot doggy is waiting for his owner all by his lonesome.
- Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I'm happy to be participating. This image was drawn on paper, scanned, and painted in Photoshop. Enjoy your day.
